PT Soho Industri Pharmasi Successfully Obtained Halal Assurance System (HAS) Certificate

Halal Assurance System (HAS) is a system implemented by halal products certificate-holder body, aims to guarantee production process and products in accordance to meet halal consistency and follow all requirements from LPPOM MUI.

There are some point to be considered as criteria for HAS certification, such as, halal policy, halal management teams, training, raw material, products, production facility, writing procedure for critical activity, among others.

PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi has implemented HAS since 2007 (since the first time Curcuma Plus Milk was launched). Since then PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi has obtained HAS status from LPPOM MUI with status A (Very Good/ Excellent) for three (3) consecutive time, for its 243 SKUs. As a result from these consistent achievements align with internal commitment “SOHO Goes to Halal”, lastly on August 5, 2020; PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi successfully obtained Halal Assurance System (HAS) Certificate from LLPOM MUI.

The benefits of obtaining this HAS certificate for the company are:

•Improve company image
•Guarantee the halalness of the products for consumers’ consumption
•Arise internal awareness arises and provide the Company with guidelines for the sustainability of the Halal production process
•Provide guarantees and assurance for consumers
•Prevent cases of non halal for products with halal certificate
