PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi won 2018 Innovative Industrial Research and Development Institution (IIRDI) Award

PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi received the 2018 Innovative Industrial Research and Development Institution (IIRDI) Award on Thursday, December 13, 2018. The award was given by the Director General of Higher Education Institution of Science and Technology of the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Technology Mr. Patdono Suwignjo to Dr. Raphael Aswin Susilowidodo, ST, Msi, Vice President of R & D and RPV, PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi at the Appreciation Institute for Research and Development 2018 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD).


IIRDI Award is an award given by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (“Kemenristekdikti”) to business entities / industries that carry out R & D activities consistently and continuously, and produce innovative and competitive products. Through this awarding ceremony, Kemenristekdikti intends to appreciate industry / business entities that have consistently carried out R & D activities, utilize and develop R & D results from R & D / higher educational institutions, and produce innovative domestic products through R & D activities.


Director General of Higher Education Institution of Science and Technology Patdono Suwignjo explained, the Ministry of Research and Technology of Higher Education has the role to encourage the ability of sustainable engineering, innovation, and technology diffusion in business entities / industries. For this purpose the industry is expected to continue to cooperate with R & D institutions, create and utilize products and technologies resulted from innovative, effective and efficient R&D efforts so that it can strengthen the structure and competitiveness of regional and national economies.


The success of PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi in winning the IIRDI Award 2018 was the result of consistency in conducting research and development activities. SOHO's R & D and Regulatory continuously collaborates with various research institutions: government institutions, universities, private parties, and local communities in synergy through the pattern of cooperation applying ABGC Linkage (Academic, Business, Government, and Communities). Moreover, SOHO has actively supported the downstream process of research institutions by utilizing R & D results from R & D institutions / universities, and producing innovative and competitive products. With this appreciation, it is expected that PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi will be even more enthusiastic in carrying out R & D activities in producing innovative and high-quality pharmaceutical products that benefit wider society and the well-being of our nation.


In addition to PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi, PT Dexa Medica, PT Martina Berto and PT PINDAD Persero (Weapon & Special Vehicle Industry) also received this prestigious award and close the year of 2018 with a remarkable achievement.
